As many  Ugandans  are angry at Uganda Broadcasting Cooperation( UBC) after learning that the national Television will not be able to telecast the African Cup of Nations tournament  in Gabon which starta today, well it is the same case in Rwanda.

Watchdog has learnt that Rwanda TV, which is the national television im Rwanda is not going to telecast the tournament due to the high rights charges by Legardere Sports and Entertainment( responsible for selling rights for AFCON airing).
According to Arthur Asiimwe,  the Rwanda Broadcasting Service Director, Rwanda TV will not broadcast the AFCON tournament because the broadcasting rights atlre too expensive.

Apparently there are only four African countries that have taken on these expensive rights  namely,  Senegal,  Mali, Ivory Coast and South Africa.
