A group of concerned citizens from Busoga Sub region have petitioned the Inspector General of Government (IGG) to probe into Lands Minister also Bukono County MP Persis Namuganza’s academic papers claiming that she totally failed her Primary Leaving Examinations and that she also faked her ‘O’ and ‘A’ level academic papers.

In a letter received by the IGG, speaker Rebecca Kadaga and Director of Communications and public affairs, the concerned citizens say Namuganza failed her PLE exams which made her unqualified for another level of Education, unless she repeated the class which she never did.

They further claim that the minister forged her UCE and UACE academic documents thus she doesn’t qualify to hold any public office.

“Therefore , the purpose of this communication is to request your good office since its mandated by law to handle such scenarios legally and give this matter utmost urgency it deserves in order for justice to prevail,” letter partly reads.
