The traditional marriage ceremony (Kuhingira) of Andile Ramaphosa, son to South Africa president Cyril Ramaphosa and Bridget Birungi Rwakairu, daughter to former Prime Minister Amama Mbabazi is scheduled to take place this weekend.

The lovely couple is already in the country and they are staying at the luxurious Speke Apartments.

The function will take place at Mbabazi’s Kololo residence.

Meanwhile, journalists who will cover  the event are today expected to take part in a technical dry run to guide them on how to cover the function.

A dry run is a rehearsal of a performance or procedure before the real one.

According to Mbabazi’s spokesperson Maggie Lukowe, during the dry run journalists will be shown their limits, and areas within which they are expected to operate.

The exercise is expected to begin at 3pm at Mbabazi’s Kololo residence.

“We shall have a technical dry run for all media covering the Ramaphosa Kuhingira this Thursday 2 Aug at the Mbabazi residence starting at 3.00pm. Cameramen & Photographers are encouraged not to miss. Thanks. Maggie,” Lukowe’s message to journalists .
