After leaders of the African Union met in Kigali a couple of days ago to evaluate the continent’s role in the International Criminal Court (ICC), now, the bosses of various African intelligence agencies are meeting in the same city to discuss strategic security concerns on the continent.

The meet dubbed Conference of the Committee of Intelligence (CISSA) attracts Chiefs of Intelligence Services from across Africa.

The intelligences bosses will review how Africa has become a victim of global jurisdiction, thus the theme, “Countering the Growing threat of Abuse of Universal Jurisdiction against Africa”.

The 51 member body was established in 2004 in Abuja, Nigeria. The objective was to help the African Union to effectively address the security challenges confronting the continent.
