The kawala based Television station owned by  Pastor Augustine Yiga faces yet  another programmes ban.
According to the Uganda Communication Commission(UCC) directive,Abs tv broadcasts programmes that breach the minimum standards of broadcasting basing on section 31 of the Uganda Communications Act 2013.
The programmes banned from viewership include Kalondozi,Nabalwanyi and Oluwombo lwa Bafumbo and the station was directed to immediately put a stop in broadcasting the programmes in question.
“The Commission has established that ABS TV station has continuously broadcast programmes that are in breach of the Minimum Broadcasting Standards set out in Section 31 of the Uganda Communications Act 2013.
These programmes include; Kalondozi, Nabawalanyi and Oluwombo Lwa Bafumbo.
The Commission, henceforth, directs ABS TV to stop broadcasting these programmes with immediate effect.
We, therefore, call on the general public to accord us your usual cooperation incase this directive is breached by the station in question.”Statement from UCC.
In November last year,Kalondozi  programme on Abs tv was suspended by UCC but after thorough investigation and pleading by Yiga towards the commission, the programme was allowed to air again but with limitations.
