The widow of late singer Martin Angume, Juliet Angume Semugga has cancelled her wedding with new lover allegedly in fear of getting disappointed again.
Julie was set to tie a knot with her Netherlands based lover Sam Sekajuko, in a ceremony due to take place over the weekend in Nairobi Kenya.
Cancelling of this wedding didn’t came as a surprise following the shame Julie had to go through after her groom failed to appear at their traditional wedding recently.
At the introduction ceremony, Julie was forced to introduce a photo to her friends and family.
Though social media gossips alleged that maybe the ghost of Angume is trying to sabotage Julie and Sam’s relationship, a close source claimed that the groomed failed to attend his wedding in fear that his Netherlands citizenship papers might be cancelled.
“Sekajuko is in Uganda, but in hiding because his citizenship papers are not yet in order. He is seeking for asylum in Netherlands and he isn’t allowed to comeback to Uganda. But when he managed to secretly sneak into the country for the introduction, he was warned that people might take his pictures and share them on social media, thus alerting the Netherlands Authorities,” source said.
Adding that if Netherlands Authorities find out that he came back to Uganda, they might cancel his citizenship papers and even face him with some legal charged, that’s why the couple agreed to use a photo instead of a physical person.
