Uganda Cranes captain Halid Lwaliwa has said they want to win a 15th Cecafa Senior Challenge title unbeaten.
The Cranes held a full house training session earlier on Friday morning at StarTimes Stadium, Lugogo ahead of their last group A match against Djibouti on Sunday, December 15, 2019.
After the training, Lwaliwa said all his team mates have had enough rest since their last game, a 2-0 win over Eritrea. This has not been the case with the other first group matches which he says were back to back.
Also, the camp is injury free.
“We are going to attack Djibouti till the last second although we have already qualified for the semi finals. We want to win the 15th title for Uganda unbeaten,” he told Watchdog Uganda.
The Cranes have won all their first three group A games; beating Burundi 2-1, Somalia 2-0 before defeating Eritrea 2-0.
