Socialite Anita Fabiola has come under attack from a section of Ugandans for relying on ‘sweet’ as opposed to ‘sweat’ to acquire property.
Over the weekend, the internet was awash with news that the TV personality, who recently landed a juicy deal with BBC, had received a brand new Mercedes Benz from a mystery lover.
She on Saturday she posted a photo of the new car covered in balloons and roses that spelt ‘I Love U,’ all over social media. She captioned the photo with ‘I Love you more baby’.
But as her friends congulated her, other blasted her for ‘allegedly using what’s between her legs’ to amass property.
“As a father to little girls, may we one day start to encourage our daughters to post the cars they buy, using money they earned through their sweat not “sweet”. Imagine a pilot or an oil n gas engineer or a surgeon called Fabiola – hot, sassy, intelligent, splashing out her own salary to buy a bluetec. Now that would be a total “boss babe” right there than a chick you buy a car for and add a fuel card! I know people will claim she sweats for this too but surely? The other day Zahara Toto slept with a duck billed platypus only for the car to b impounded by tax boys.” Old Mutual’s Allan Lwanga posted on facedbook on Sunday.
Fabiola is yet to respond to the criticism.
