Events promoter Balaam Barugahara has mocked singer Edrisa Musuuza alias Eddy Kenzo following his recent visit to the State House.
Kenzo is one of the artistes considered anti-government, and recently released a song dubbed ‘System Volongoto’, bashing the party in power for failing to deliver to people’s expectation.
It is believes that Kenzo’s biggest issue with the government as an artiste was that he was never appreciated.
But on Monday, the multiple award winner’s prayers were answered after President Museveni invited him over to the State House for a ‘fruitful’ discussion.
Now Balaam says after that meeting, Kenzo no longer see’s the ‘volongotos’ in Museveni’s government, as everything changed for the better, the moment he received a fat envelope from the President.
Through his social media, Balaam also thanked Museveni for forgiving Kenzo, despite the harsh statement he has been making on his government.
“Finally the system is clear, it’s no longer volongoto. Thank you Mzee Museveni for being forgiving, loving father of the nation and thank you for pledging to support all Kenzo’s projects. God Bless you,” Balaam noted.
Though not much is known about what happened during Kenzo-Museveni chat, the singer promised to give details of their meeting soon.
“Thank you for your encouraging remarks. In response to my past post as I went to state House to meet the President. Indeed I want to confirm that it has come to pass and I have met the President of Uganda. It was a warm and a fruitful discussion about my individual achievements but also most importantly about the huge potential and opportunities available in the art industry which he pledged to give full government support. Ill provide details of our interaction anytime soon in the course of this week,” Kenzo posted recently.
