Overwhelmed by the love he received from fans during his return on Tuesday, singer Edrisa Musuuza aka Eddy Kenzo has now decided to forgive and forget his troubles with ‘haters’.
The singer has been in United States of America (USA) for weeks, where he also won an award for Best African Entertainer at the Fifth edition of African Entertainment Award USA 2019.
And because of the heroic welcome he received on his return yesterday, Kenzo has decided to forgive and forget all details of his clash with Sheikh Nuhu Muzaata.
Recently, Muzaata told Kenzo to marry his mother who died over 20 years back. The controversial cleric made the statement when Kenzo’s ex-lover Rema Namakula introduced her new lover Hamza Sebunya to her family. Since then, there has been a bitter exchange of words among both parties.
However, during a presser at Big Talent office on Tuesday, Kenzo claimed that basing on the life he grew up in, nature taught him to always swallow his pride and focus on things that have importance, and for that, the singer choose to forgive Muzaata
“I grew up on the streets and learnt very many virtues of moral integrity especially when one has to swallow pride for survival. Therefore, I forgive Sheikh Muzaata and if he wants he will apologize, if he is not willing to do it, Allah will reward him for his deeds,” he said.
The singer claimed that he choose to end his rift with Muzaata because both holy books (Quran and Bible) also teach about forgiveness.
“The Quran also advises us to forgive and I hear even the bible Jesus preached to his followers to forgive, therefore I also forgive Muzaata,” he said.
Kenzo had earlier promised to hold a peaceful walk to Kibuli Mosque, to make Muzaata apologize for his statement, but apparently this peaceful demonstration is also called off.
To excite his fan even more, Kenzo also promised to hold a free concert for all ‘Love niggers’. Details about this music show shall be communicated soon.
