We all apply nail polish to look beautiful, but hey! Did you know that this beauty can be destroyed if you try to do it anyhow, say by yourself?
Early this week I visited one of the most professional nail parlour in Kampala’s suburb of Makindye.
I picked quick tips from experts that I would like to share with you.
Nail experts at Field World Nail Art parlor in Makindye, say, applying nail polish seems to look easy but it’s kind of tricky.
For example, Mr Bwengye Patrick, an expert manicurist, said, just like fashion or makeup, when nail polish goes wrong on your nails, it will definitely make you look terrible.
Patrick says that apart from applying nail polish on their clients, nail parlors always go beyond by offering extra services which add on your nail beauty ‘at no extra cost’, thus giving you a value for your money.
Besides polishing the nails, Bwengye noted that before a nail expert works on the client, they should first scrub their hand or feet (to make them smooth), cut the nails well, level them and clean all corners among other things to add exquisiteness to one’s feet or fingers.
“It makes no sense to have your nails look good with polish, when the skin around the figures or feet is terrible, rough and un-moisturized. But you can get more than just nail polish when you visit a parlor,” he said, adding, “It’s called beauty.”
And another beauty that comes with visiting a parlor for manicure and pedicure, is that when the polish goes wrong before a week, or if you reach home and feel like it’s not good enough, you can always go back for a redo.
