Former Uganda People’s Congress (UPC) Joseph Fred Bossa will be laid to rest this Wednesday October 9, 2019.
Bossa passed on last week.
According to his widow, International Criminal Court judge Solome Balungi, Bossa died in The Hague.
“Dear colleagues, I bring you the sad news of the passing of my husband Joseph Fred Bossa in the Netherlands. Burial arrangements will be communicated later. May his soul rest in peace,” she posted.
Burial programme:
Today Monday, there will be a vigil starting 4pm at the deceased’s home in Muyenga Bukasa.
Then on Tuesday, there will be a mass at St Peters Cathedral Nsambya at 9am to 12pm followed by a church service for the prayer of the deceased at 6pm by Church of Uganda. At 7pm, dinner will be served.
On Wednesday, the deceased’s casket will arrive at 10am, Lunch will be served by 10am to 12:30 pm. This will be followed by a mass by Catholic Church at Manyangwe and speeches.
Bossa will be buried at 2pm and his heir will be installed at 5pm at his home in Muyenga Bukasa.
