Former NBS TV news anchor Sheila Tusiime Mugisha has landed a juicy job at Total Uganda.
Tusiime joins Total Uganda as a Corporate Communications Officer.
Total which has been in Uganda since 1955, is one of the top quality petroleum products and services providers in the country anchored on a dynamic and diverse human capital that deliver sustainable value and relationships.
“Congratulations Sheila T Mugisha on joining Total Uganda as Corporate Communications Officer. We wish you lots of happiness and success in your new role,” said Citizens’ Coalition for Electoral Democracy in Uganda (CCEDU) on their twitter handle.
Tusiime whose last big story, was interviewing President Yoweri Museveni, quit her job at NBS in February this year. She left in a manner that displeased several well placed people.
NBS TV had on several occasions been accused by Mr Museveni for being anti establishment, despite the television’s efforts to air several government programs.
However, reports on our desk indicated that the management of Next Media wasn’t pleased with her personal efforts that landed her an exclusive interview with Mr Museveni.
Sheila who has strong security and state houses sources and contacts, had played a link between the NBS news department with highly placed sources, which helped the station to compete favourably in the news market.
