Last week, Goodlyf’s former producer, David Ebangit aka Washington told Entebbe High Court that Godfrey ‘Troy’ Wamala was the man behind the singer Moses Ssekibogo aka Radio Mowzey’s death.
Washington told Justice Jane Francis Abodo that Troy grabbed the deceased and threw him on the ground.
“Radio got a bottle of whisky and poured a drink in all the glasses on the table. He was at first happy but after became angry. He lifted up the table and all glasses fell down. Troy came from the back shouting, grabbed the deceased and threw him down,” Washington testified.
After his testimony, Justice Abodo set September 24 as judgment day.
Now singer Hillary Kiyaga aka Hilderman has called upon fellow entertainers to turn up in big numbers and witness court’s decision on the said day.
Through his social media platform, Hilderman claimed that though Radio died, the only thing they can do for him and his family is to seek for justice.
“On 24th September 2019, the case of our brother Mowzey Radio will be decided at the court in Entebbe. Please, let’s all be there. I call upon our fans, supporters, artistes, comedians, writers and every fan of Radio’s to flock the court,” he said.
Hilderman joins other artistes who include Weasel, King Saha, Spice Diana and Lydia Jazmine among others who are rallying fans to flock Entebbe Court on September 24.
Troy is accused of killing Radio after a brawl at De Bar, a popular hangout in Entebbe Town, Wakiso District on January 22, 2018.
Following the said incident in which Troy allegedly lifted and threw Radio on the ground, the singer was admitted at Case Hospital Kampala where he breathed his last on February 1, 2018.
Also a gifted songwriter, Radio is famed for songs such as Neera, Nkwagala, Jennifer, Sweet Lady among others.
