The Uganda Police Force and sister security agencies have retrieved CCTV images showing incidents that occurred prior to and after the kidnapping of the late Maria Nagirinya and her driver Kitayimbwa Ronald on August 28, 2019.
The images have been retrieved from an Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) camera and one can clearly see from the pictures that the assailant is wearing a white shirt, a reddish coat and a cap on his head.
He is of a dark skin complexion.
Nagirinya was kidnapped from her home in Lungujja community zone, Rubaga Municipality early last week and her body was recovered in Nakitutuli village in Nama sub-county, Mukono district, along Mukono Kayunga road last Thursday.
The 28 year old was working as a project manager at Community Integrated Development Initiative (CIDI), a Muyenga based NGO.
