According to Startup Uganda, the organizers of KIW, their major focus at this event is to support the growth of the startup ecosystem by maximizing it’s exploration to international investment, and partnership with global audiences.
Speaking to the press on Thursday, Richard Zulu, the Chairperson of Startup Uganda said the innovation week will provide visibility to entrepreneurs and also attract global partnership, to build the Startup ecosystem possible and its benefits immense.
“KIW has provided a platform for all ecosystem enablers to start out on a long journey to build out the capital, knowledge, network and infrastructure that is required for our startups to succeed, we believe that we can achieve more together,” he said.
He also noted that KIW will provide a conducive space for entrepreneurs to display their latest innovations from startup businesses, private sectors players and development partners.
