Singer Pius Mayanja alias Pallaso has clapped back at people who have made Museveni’s money an issue in his brother’s political intentions.
Pallaso, the young brother to singer Jose Chameleone, born Joseph Mayanja claimed that Ugandans should stop doubting his brother because of his previous affiliations to the party in power.
Recently while joining Democratic Party (DP), Chameleone admitted that he took part in NRM’s Tubonga Nawe project for money but he is a born DP supporter.
But even after giving ‘convincing’ reasons why he joined the opposition, some politicians like Betty Nambooze and the public still question his motives, as some claim that he might be a mole, sent by Museveni to spy the opposition.
However, according to Pallaso, after Uganda Cranes made it to the round of 16 in AFCON 2019, they also received money from Museveni. Surprisingly no Ugandan has come out to complain or question them like they did with Chameleone and other artistes who have ever taken money from ‘Yellow man’.
Through his social media platform on Wednesday, Pallaso claimed that every talent that stands out, represents Uganda as a nation, and people should know that just like soccer and athletics, music is also a talent.
“I was waiting to see if any Ugandan would hate on the talented @UgandaCranes for taking @KagutaMuseveni’s money. But wooow this time it’s okay. Please fellow Ugandans stop individualizing the struggle. The struggle belongs to us all as one,” he said.
