Fresh Kid’s father Paul Mutabaazi aka Fresh Daddy is seemingly not planning to give up on his dream of becoming the next ‘big thing’ in the music industry, despite receiving public criticisms.
The 50-year-old ‘new kid’ on the block recently hit Bad Character records, were he recorded his debut song ‘Mazike’ with guidance from struggling artistes Khalifah Aganaga, who also happens to be his manager now.
And while speaking on an interview with nbs, ‘manager’ Khalifa claimed that, Fresh Daddy will not be performing for free, for he has already set a price for anyone who would wish to have him at a show.
“Currently, if someone wants to hire Fresh Daddy for any event, the singer is available and he will be performing for a fee ranging from Shs500,000 to one million. I have already printed his receipt books,” he said.
A few days back, Mutabaazi, a former manicurist revealed his hopes of shifting to the music industry, and according to him, music might provide him the financial breakthrough.
Though Mutabaazi is currently thinking high about his music career, his son’s manager, Francis Kamoga advised him to leave the music industry because he is destructing his son’s fans.
“When Mutabaazi starts singing, there is a way he will destruct Fresh Kid’s fans, him being in the industry has a lot of effects to the Kid’s career. Ever since Fresh Kid was taken away from me, media can be my witness, a lot of complaints ion Fresh Kid and his father have been reported more than his music,” Kamoga said.
