The Bishop South Ankole Diocese, Rt Rev Nathan Ahimbisibwe has lashed out at proud political and civil leaders to ‘stop and cooperate with others if they are to develop Ntungamo District’.

“Embrace unity and coexistence because every human being complements each other and God gave everyone special talent to help one other,” he said on Tuesday during the official launching of Ntungamo District Staff Fellowship.

He hailed the district leadership for securing every Thursday for different religions to hold fellowship and prayers.
The chief Administrative officer (CAO) Joanitah Nakityo noted that she had initiated the prayer and fellowship following ‘the bad spirit within the leaders failing to cooperate.’
“The fellowship has already yielded fruit. Recently, the district approved a Shs48bn budget for the 2019/2020 financial year without conflicts,” she said afte Bishop Ahimbibwe had officially commissioned the fellowship with Holy Communion.
Nakityo also stressed that since most of employers spend their time in office, there is need to have such prayers and turn to God in order to be corruption free.
