School head teachers in Mubende District have been tasked to ensure that they beat the May 31 deadline to have all Primary Seven Pupils registered for their Primary Leaving Examination, for this year.
The District Education Officer Benson Kayiwa told Watchdog Uganda on Thursday said they have reports that some head teachers had not compiled data through the E-Registration System at Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB).
He also cautioned Private schools to desist from swindling registration money.
Last year over 200 students missed out on their Uganda Certificate of Education, in the sub counties of Kiyuni and Madudu where some head teachers had diverted registration fees to their own use.
