Jamaican reggae sensation Jamar McNaughton, popularly known as Chronixx will be making a return to Kampala for music festival dubbed Pulse Jam Party.
This event is scheduled for June 29 at Kampala Sheraton Hotel.
The 26-year-old singer’s first performance at the Ndere Cultural Center in 2016 was highly successful, especially among reggae fans.
Chronixx is a reggae maestro behind several reggae hits like Smile Jamaica, Skankin sweet, Access Granted, Like a Whistle, Here comes Trouble, Aint no givin’ in, among others.
He started his music career as a songwriter, reportedly penning his first song ‘Rice Grain’ at the age of five.
The son of the musician ‘Chronicle’ Chronixx did his first recording at the age of 11, though the song wasn’t released.
Chronixx’s performance will be happening a couple of week’s before the much anticipated Jamaican Reggae festival dubbed ‘Long Walk to Freedom’ due September 4 at Lugogo Cricket Oval.
‘Long Walk to Freedom’ will feature several music heavy weights such as Buju Banton, Morgan Heritage, Beenie Man, Jose Chameleone, Bebe Cool among others.
