Mwenda bashed: ‘Empty headed best describes you’

Social media has gone gaga, with over a statement first shared by People Power diehard Sarajoy Bakanansa in which she hits at Andrew Mwenda for legislator Robert Kyagulanyi an empty-headed, drug addict.
Last Tuesday while appearing on nbs’ Morning Breeze programme, Mwenda said Kyagulanyi, the Kyadondo East lawmaker popularly known as Bobi Wine is ‘an empty-headed drug addict’.
Mwenda later apologized and withdrew his statement, saying criminalization of marijuana is the worst thing to happen to humanity.

“I am told Bobi Wine takes it sometimes. There are many health benefits of weed. We (Uganda) can invest in health/medical marijuana,” said Mwenda in an attempt at an apology.
In response, Bakanansa, who also describes herself as a ‘Social and human rights activist’, cautioned Mwenda to ‘stop using words that best describe him’.

Your own sister sold 100 goats and managed to buy UBC land at Shs10 billion. Ugandans were left wondering why a man of your calibre never advised your own sister at least to apply common sense in her statements. But again what would we expect when you are both empty-headed. For years you have made the loudest noise, hope you know the saying that empty tins make the loudest noise.
Recently in a tweet you up hauled Museveni for building roads and a market in Lira municipality but indeed you are an empty tin coz if you weren’t, you would know all these are built from loans taken from China, World Bank and African Development Bank of which you and your children plus your famous goat breeding family will pay. If you were intelligent you would be questioning why we are taking out all these loans and what does the taxpayers’ money do. But again you are empty-headed.
The person you are calling empty-headed has been championing change since his early 20s. Singing about social injustices and talking about the plight of Ugandans. At your age, you cannot even stand for LC1 chairman elections and win but you are calling a full Member of Parliament who won by over 70 per cent and a potential presidential candidate empty-headed. Who grew you? But again whenever I begin to question your reasoning capacity then am reminded that you come from that famous family that sold 100 goats for Shs10bn.
Am very certain you are one of the goats that was sold and I wonder why the new buyer didn’t eat it for lunch last Xmas. Is he keeping around this particular goat coz it makes lots of noise or he has future plans of eating it at a later date.
Bobi wine is respected both back home and abroad and internationally recognized. His current profile you will never get in 100 years so we expect you to put some respect on his name. You did well before as a journalist in fact at some point you were one of the respected journalists the country had but you lost credibility when you jumped into Museveni’s bed and started defending the same things you criticized for years.
As you continue your attention seeking games, don’t disrespect a man who has and still inspiring so many young people to believe in themselves and fight for what’s right. Enjoy warming up Museveni’s bed but don’t forget Kitaata has been there before you and now he is crying foul.
