Belinda Nansasi right now is in tears after it dawned on her that she’s on a verge of losing the grand prize she won during the Miss Curvy-Uganda contest recently.
According to sources, a car dealer identified as Hamid Kamanzi has given Miss Curvy organizers an ultimatum of two days to pay his money or return his old Jeep Cherokee UAL 810 that was awarded to the reigning Miss Curvy Nansansi.
Kamanzi claims that Ann Mungooma, the organizer of Miss Curvy contest approached him in need of a car, but being that she didn’t have the money at the moment, they agreed that she will pay Shs16 million for the car in installments.
It was agreed that 60 percent of it was to be paid from the gate collection, and the remaining balance was to be paid later.
But Kamanzi claims that till now, he has not yet received money for his car and currently needs it back, or they should pay him immediately.
It’s rumored that the 25-year-old mother of one did not get time to enjoy her ride too, as it was awarded to her when in a poor mechanical condition, and given that she couldn’t handle the high maintenance cost, she decided to park it and went back to footing.
