Former ‘NTV the beat’ host Sheila Gashumba never ceases to create commotion on social media to draw attention to herself.
Not clear if she needed attention or was just being compassionate following the death two-year-old twins belonging to State Minister for Water Resources Ronald Kibuule, Gashumba used that opportunity to try and shine as she claimed to have saved a kid from drowning on Sunday.
“I saved a kid from drowning on Sunday because the life guard was just standing outside the pool starring at people while 10 kids crossed over from the kids pool to the main pool. So seeing a story about twins drowning in a pool few days ago is relatable,” Gashumba stated.
However, despite her heroic gesture, social media ‘police’ had a go at her, advising her to stop using other people’s misfortune to make news.
