Its all but over for Vipers as regards their defence of the StartTmes Uganda Premier league after losing their second home game of the season against Uganda Revenue Authority.

URA who are yet to lose on their travels went ahead in the 26th minute against the run of play through captain Shafik ‘Kuchi’ Kagimu’s block buster from outside the area.

URA remain third but close the gap against Vipers to just three points putting more light on coach Ssimbwa’s objective of finishing second.
In Mwereerwe, Bright Stars and Police FC played to their fourth stalemate in their last five league games.
Police started the better side in the opening 15 minutes with their trade mark short passes and high intensity despite creating in roads in bright stars defensive set up.
A clever ball over the top found bright stars backline flat footed and Juma Balinnya capitalised on it drawing a great save from Hamza Muwonge with Basani Saafi on hand to capitalise and score the opening goal.
The hosts started the better side in the second half and should have leveled matters but for some dodgy defending by the cops. However, relentless attacks from bright stars eventually paid off with Kacancu nodding in the leveler.
Coach Abdallah Mubiru’s Police remain ninth on the log, level on points with Onduparaka who host BUL on Saturday in Arua. Bright Stars also remain 10th with 35 points.
