Seven-year-old rap sensation Patrick Ssenyonjo alias Fresh Kid continues to take Uganda music industry by storm.
A few days after meeting Minister Florence Nakiwala Kiyingi, who promised to have him enrolled at Savio Junior School in Kisubi, tycoon Sudhir Ruparelia’s family has offered to pay school fees for the little talent at the prestigious Kampala Parents School.
The announcement was made by Sudhir’s son Rajiv, also the managing director of Ruparelia Group.
Fresh Kid has been dying to attend school which would allow him do his music as well as have a good education.
Kampala Parents School is one of the education giants in Uganda, attended by children of either the middle class, or ambitious parents.
“Today I met a young man called Fresh Kid – I was moved by his ambition being only seven years old. I would love to see him become a guide and inspiration to many young people out there hence, Ruparelia Foundation is presenting this young man with a full scholarship from the Ruparelia Foundation to go to Kampala Parents School,” Rajiv told Watchdog Uganda.
Ruparelia Group is also one of the business entities which has invested massively into the education sector, boosting of Kampala parents, Kampala International School of Uganda, Delhi School, Victoria University among others.
