Rapper Patrick Senyonjo alias Fresh Kid’s music career is currently hanging by a thread, after the State Minister for Children and Youth, Florence Nakiwala Kiyinji put a ban on his fast rising music career.
Fearing to go back to the village, Fresh Kid rallied his fans to join him through the hastag #FreeFreshKidTalent, to demand the ban be lifted. This is where dancer Wembly Mo comes in.
It’s not a secret that there is a big rift between commercial dancer Wembly Mo and Fresh Kid, and through his social media platform, Wembly hit back at the Kid.
“Truth will prevail @Fresh Kid #Wembly Mo Foundation” he posted.
However, his post arose many questions as people wondered if he was happy about what Fresh Kid is going through or he was just siding with #FreeFreshKidTalent.
Fresh Kid and Wembly are at longer heads, as the dancer claims that he brought Fresh Kid from the village ‘Luwero’ to Kampala through his Wembly Mo Foundation, because he believed that the seven-year-old had talent, and this is where the Kid got a new management.
He alleges that instead of appreciating his hand in the Kid’s music career, the management is feeding the media with lies and false information to make him look bad in public.
“Today the managers are trying to make bread by giving him bad words and not credit me because he is young and so people believe kids don’t lie. I think they are scared I will go pick him up so they want me to look bad. I even saw his dad on television saying I never helped the kid and that he was never under my Foundation, I even cried,” Wembly lamented during an interview on Monday.
This leaves social media wondering if there is something the public has not yet known about the little rapper, or Wembly is just jealous about the Kid’s success.
