Social media went concerned when news broke the internet on Women’s Day that the former Blu*3 songstress Jackie Chandiru had collapsed during a function.
This happened when the ‘Gold digger’ singer was called on podium to address the dangers of drug abuse to students of Makerere University Business School (Mubs), but suddenly she lost her balance and collapsed.
Having a record of drug misuse, some social media gossipers couldn’t waste time as they alleged that Chandiru might have gone back to her old days of taking drugs.
But after the fake social media talks, songstress took it on twitter to clarify on what caused her collapsing episode; she said that she lacks appetite these days and had gone for days without food.
“I would like to thank @MakerereU Business Women Forum, The Principle Prof, Wasswa Balunywa and MUBs Dr for the support offered during my seizure, My insomnia and lack of appetite for the past two days took its toll but am feeling better now” Jackie tweeted.
Having battled with drug addiction problems for over three years ago, Mubs couldn’t choose the best guest speaker to address issues on dangers of drug abuse than Chandiru though she was unable to deliver her motivation speech.
