End child trafficking Campaign Uganda, in partnership with Bishop Sisto Mazzolidi Secondary School students have joined hands to preach against human trafficking and modern day slavery.
Through their school club ‘Anti-human-trafficking club’ students are set address issues of modern day slavery through poems, dances, skits among others, in a bid to create awareness among fellow youths, during the ‘My Freedom Day’ on March 14. ‘My Freedom Day’ is celebrated annually.
These activities will take place at Mazzolidi Secondary School in Lweza on March 14, from 2pm to 5pm, with over 600 participants, 500 of those are students of Mazzolidi and partner schools as well as Anti-human trafficking clubs situated in Lweza.
According to organizers, ‘End child trafficking Campaign Uganda’ aims at bringing together talented and committed students, to join hands and raise awareness on modern slavery and child trafficking.
End child trafficking campaign is a Ugandan grassroots network of supporters, activists and volunteers, who campaign for children’s rights, with aims of raising awareness on child trafficking and empowering children through creative arts.
And on every March 14, they join the world in the celebration of My Freedom Day, and also add a voice towards de-campaigning modern day slavery.
