Problems seem to follow socialite Shanitah Namuyimbwa alias Bad Black these days.
First, she was asked to appear before Criminal Investigative Department (CID) for using offensive language on social media and abusing the President. Now, a misdemeanor from 2017 is coming back to haunt her as police add ‘child neglect’ on her charge sheet.
According to very reliable sources, the child neglect case happened in 2017, when Bad Black allegedly abandoned her son, Jonah in a Kenya hotel after failing to raise money for the hotel bills.
But according to Bad Black, she didn’t abandon Jonah as he was kidnapped by unknown men for ransom. The bad men also promised to kill her dear Jonah if she reported the incident to police or if she fails to raise the money.
She was left confused because she didn’t have the $200,000 (about Shs700 million) demanded at the time, nor was she able to raise it, again, in such a short time.
She decided to leave everything in God’s hands and pray that Jonah returns safe. Which he did because after a week, the kidnappers decided to take Jonah to Uganda High Commission in Kenya since they were not making any headway.
And that is how she recovered the son.
However, CID wasn’t convinced by Bad Black’s statement. Now she has less than a week to fine tune a new lie since she will be reporting to CID on Monday, March 4, to answers questions on child neglect as well as use of offensive language and profanity on social media.
