The ninth edition of the biggest family lakeside event, Roast and Rhyme returns on Sunday, February 24 at Jahazi Pier Munyonyo.
Organised by Swangz Avenue, Roast and Rhyme returns under the theme ‘Reggae Ragga Nyam Nyam’ and it will feature different talented Ugandan reggae, ragga musicians.
According to Jaylor Birungi, the PRO of Swangz Avenue, this edition is aimed at bringing all Reggae Ragga music fanatics together as they roast their favorite bites.
“Come with your family and chill, dine, wine while being entertained by a full crew of your favorite artistes in Uganda, with lots of muchomo and good music,” she added.
The last edition of Roast and Rhymes, dubbed Soul on Strings featured artistes such as Azizi Azion, King Saha among others. However, Birungi says this time round there will not be headline musicians, as its aimed at giving platform to talented young Reggae Ragga artistes.
Gates open at 11am, entrance fee will be at Shs50,000 and free for children below 10 years.
