Rapper Shafik Walukagga alias Fik Fameica has dismissed rumors that he parted ways with his longtime manager Karma Ivien over increased financial problems.
Rumors alleged that Fameica had replaced Karma Ivien with his close friend and commercial dancer Wembley MO, claiming that since Wembley is closely involved in the entertainment industry, he can be the perfect person to manage his music career well.
However, the ‘My Property’ singer has dismissed these rumors claiming that despite the problems within, he is still working with Karma Ivien’s management to push his music through.
While speaking on an interview with a local radio, Fameica claimed that Wembely is ‘just a good friend to him and Karma’, and that sometimes he helps out in a lot of things concerning his music but it doesn’t mean he is the manager.
Fameica also highlighted that his management is not struggling financially, and neither is he in troubles with money lenders as social media gossips allege, as everything was sorted.
2018 ended badly for the rapper after staging an under whelming concert at Kyadondo Rugby ground on December 4. To make matters worse, this concert was sponsored by city money lenders who had hopes of collecting their money after the show.
After registering a huge loss, the loan sharks came after Fameica and Karma, demanding what they owe. At one point a money lender threatened to confiscate Fameica’s new ride till he pays.
