Just like the first time, musician Bebe Cool’s annual list of best artistes has caused a storm, with his contemporaries rubbishing it.
Among those criticizing the ‘Kamwako’ singer are Leone Island boss Jose Chameleone and Nu Eagles singer Irene Namatovu.
On Wednesday, Chameleone said Bebe is only good at making annual lists and being a fan, thus advising him to stick to that and leave the singing to the real musicians.
“They make lists we are the listened ones. Some people must become music analysts and fans. They should let musicians do the job so they sit and wait to levy. Any how we didn’t learn to do what we do, we are born like this,” Chameleone posted.

In Bebe Cool’s opinion, Sheeba and Fik Fameica are the best artistes of 2018. Honourable mentions went to Vinka, Geo Steady, Gravity, Levixone, Fefe Busi, Rema, Bobi Wine among others.
He was not done, saying band music members seem to be laying down the flag and its very unfortunate.
This seemed to tick Irene Namatovu the wrong way. The Nu Eagle’s songstress advised Bebe Cool to leave band music for those who understand it.
‘’It is so unfortunate that Bebe Cool doesn’t know anything and how band music works, but it is okay because that’s his own opinion and we can’t argue with him but the majority proved it at Afrimas,” Namatovu posted.
