Music star Jose Chameleone and his long term friend and music promoter Balaam have been on the edge following ab incident at the Saba Saba Concert.
During the show at the Cricket Oval in Lugogo, Chameleone grabbed a microphone from the government chief whip Ruth Nankabirwa amidst her speech, which left her humiliated and embarrassed.
Being the official organiser and promoter of the show, Balaam was angered by Chameleone’s action because Hon Nankabirwa was his main guest. Since then, Chameleon and Balaam have been at logerheads.
Though Chameleone publicly apologized to Nankabirwa, this didn’t satisfy Balaam who has claimed that his guest suffered despicable humiliation. Balaam also vowed never to work with Chameleon again because of his indiscipline.
Close sources to Chameleone told Watchdog that Nankabirwa understood Chameleon’s reasons and forgave him, but for the past week, she has sat Chameleon and Balaam down to see that they also workout the differences and resume their friendship.
Though it wasn’t easy for Balaam to take Chameleone back, it seems Nankabirwa’s efforts have finally paid off following Balaam’s Facebook post yesterday.
“UGMix Dance Party 31st Dec 2018 at Sheraton Gardens& 1st January 2018 Lido Beach.. his back in the top ring. Thank you Hon. Chief whip Ruth Nankabirwa for saving the old special relationship resume. Penalty to perform from midnight to 6am. Nonstop Jose Chameleone no more Kiboko Fire!!” posted Balaam.
You know the plan.
