Douglas Lwanga, he of the NBS After 5 fame is probably regretting why he claimed that from his ‘Purple Party’ experience, he knew that Fik Fameica’s show would flop.
This week, the CEO of Purple Party took to Facebook and stated reasons why ‘My Journey Concert’ had to have a low turn up.
In Lwanga’s opinion, the organisers of Fameica’s concert made a grave mistake by charging high entry fees for the show yet majority of Fameica’s fans are high school students who can’t afford that much.
“Here is why the turnup might have not have met your expectations. Fik Fameica Audience is largely the younger people. If this concert was 10k and maybe a little twist to accommodate the younger students in high school. Kyadondo would have been shut down,” reads part of the Lwanga’s opinion.
That was how the Pandora box was opened with Fameica fans saying that if Lwanga was really the musician’s friend as he claims, why didn’t he warn him in time.
Some fans commented:
Naye kati @dauglus if u saw such errors being made prior….y didn’t u tell fresh boy if u claim he’s your frnd and u c I bright future in him.
You are a hypocrite, why dont tell Fameica about this before the show, why now???
Your submission is so good very early for the next show though too late for the previous one. If you so much like Fik as you claim why didn’t you advise him before the Kampala show. Why are you waiting for the flop to show that you so much care. You are the kind of people who laugh in your heart but trying to come out with a plastic smile.
First ov all y HV u posted a pic with Sheila, she betrayed her niga, Second ov all y didn’t u warn fik about de price
