Miss World Africa, Quiin Abenakyo will today return from China. She is expected to land at Entebbe International Airport today at around 1:30 pm.
According to sources at the Miss Uganda Foundation, upon arrival, Abenakyo will be driven straight to State House Entebbe to meet President Yoweri Museveni for a state dinner.
She has been in China where she had gone to compete in the Miss World pageant. She was crowned Miss World Africa on December 8 after beating Mauritius’ Murielle Ravina.
Abenakyo also became Uganda’s first contestant to make it to the top five in the prestigious competition.
On December 20, there will be a general welcome dinner organised to celebrate Abenakyo’s success at Kampala Sheraton Hotel. Entrance will be Shs50,000.

Born in February 1996 to Mr Charles Sembera and Ms Alice Kyamulesire, Quiin Abenakyo was crowned as Miss Uganda 2018/2019 on August 10.
This 22-year-old hails from Mayuge District, Eastern Uganda.
Abenakyo awaits graduation after completing her studies in Computer Science at Makerere Business School.
