On December 8, Quiin Abenakyo made Uganda proud after she was crowned Miss World-Africa at the just concluded Miss World beauty pageant in Sanya, China. Abenakyo also made the top five most beautiful women in the World.
But one could tell that this was never straight from the heart.
As congratulatory messages came in, city socialite Zari Hassan joined in.
The Uganda’s Digital Tourism Ambassador made the message all about herself and never at any one point mention Abenakyo’s name on her Zari’s Instagram post.
“As Patron of Miss Uganda and fellow judges, we didn’t make a mistake. For the first time Miss Uganda made it to the top 30 Miss World, and now finally to the Miss World top 5…ill end here, this is world history, a world record,” Zari posted.
Her fans were not pleased at all with the mother of five.
Maria Grey, a fan told Zari to stop positioning herself, and let Abenakyo enjoy all the spotlight.
“@zaribosslady can the young lady be in the spotlight for a minute!!, it just had to be about you” Grey posted.
But as a self-claimed boss lady, Zari could go down without a fight as she made it clear that “It’s always about me”.
Other comments included, @mashthemainest, Cut the crap miss, During her journey to the miss world.. were was your support for her??.. Now that she has won you are trying to show Your Elite position. Let Queen Quiin take her spot light.
