Outgoing Kampala Capital City Authority Executive Director Jennifer Musisi on Wednesday morning made a courtesy visit to Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago.
And even though these Kampala Principals share parking space at City Hall, the have over time only crossed paths when feuding.
“My team and I called on the Lord Mayor and his Deputy.”
Details of the meeting are yet to emerge but as recently as last month, Lukwago reportedly stopped the unveiling of a plaque at the Mayors Parlour after the organisers allegedly undermined his powers by inviting Musisi.
Not so long ago, Lukwago celebrated Musisi’s resignation, saying “I was very happy over Musisi’s resignation. News hovered over the social media and now it has become a song. This is a day I could not think of. It’s a momentous occasion for me I am sorry to be overboard but am excited.”
He also called on the outgoing ED to account for every penny she spent.
“I want her to come before the board and account for every penny she spent,” a jubilant Lukwago said.
Musisi is set to set to retire on December 15.
