“I have been following the results and I must say you have been doing well. The government will always support sports in the country and I hope the good results continue,” President Museveni said.
The Cranes were led by a delegation from FUFA which included Mr Justus Mugisha and C.E.O Edgar Watson.
Uganda top group L on four points and must win at home against Lesotho on Saturday to better their chances of making a second straight AFCON appearance.
