The National Council of Sports (NCS) has launched a quarterly breakfast meeting which is aimed at showcasing the progress of different sports federations activities and accountability.
Patrick Ogwel, the acting Secretary General described the innovation as a step forward, towards improving the communication of the council towards the general public.
“This great innovation has been done to communicate better to the public, council does a lot especially financially to sports federations and there is need for the public to know it,” Ogwel said.
NCS also used the meeting at their headquarters to launch a quarterly magazine which will have all the latest information on the various sports activities.
It will also contain in-depth exclusive interviews involving different sports personalities who will have performed well while representing Uganda in different disciplines.
