They archbishop of the church of Uganda, his grace Stanley Ntagali on Sunday – while on his visit in Rubanda district said that homosexuality has no place in Uganda.
“Homosexuality will never step in Uganda as long am still alive…. We shall fight it till the end “Ntagali said.
“Those of the Western world brought religion in Africa but only left it to Africans. Religion has today remained only in Africa. God created man for a woman not man for a man ” he added.
The archbishop was in Nyamweru Sub County, Rubanda district commissioning an new church, St Andrews church of Uganda Kateretere that was constructed by one man, Dr Aggrey Byarugaba.
Dr Byarugaba, a pharmacist who owns pharmaceuticals in Mbarara, Kampala, Nairobi and Tanzania said that some years back, that he had a dream that called him to build God’s church. In 2015, he chose to construct the church alone – and it was completed this year. Byarugaba was at the same time celebrating 32 years of marriage.
Archbishop Ntagali thanked Mr Byarugaba for his generosity and wished his family unending blessing from God.
Ntagali advised married couples to be faithful and love each other for their families to Last longer.
Henry Musasizi (MP Rubanda East) who was present thanked Dr Byarugaba for his commitment to God. He called on parents to educate their children to help the community.
