The annual jazz safari will be taking a new twist this time round as they will be hosting American R&B super star Ginuwine who was a big hit in the 90’s and early 2000’s.
Real names Elgin Baylor Lumpkin, he is famous for songs like Differences, In those jeans and the best man I can be among others. He is also a song writer and actor and will be the headlining artiste for an R&B themed jazz Safari this time round.
The jazz safari has previously featured legends like Joe Thomas in 2014, Maxi Priest in 2016 and Yola Semedo alongside celebrated saxophonist Marcus Anderson for 2017.
It will be Ginuwine’s first performance in East Africa and the concert is scheduled for early December, this will be the jazz safari’s 11th edition and critics are anticipating a much bigger showing than last year.
