Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) has cancelled this year’s city festival.
This was revealed during a press conference held on Wednesday morning.
According to KCCA Executive Director Jennifer Musisi, this year they are to focus sponsors’ contributions to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) cause.
“The purpose of Kampala City Festival Presser is to inform you that we shall have no street party this year but focus all our sponsors’ contributions to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) cause which will involve improving health centers and removing asbestos from city schools,” said Musisi.
“We shall start with re-roofing Nakivubo Blue and Nakivubo Settlement primary schools also, build maternity ward at Kiswa health center,” she added.
