Shop attendant, Patrick Ojok from Oyam, is one of the latest successes to bet small but win big with betPawa as earlier announced in a press conference that took place at Ntinda.
His mouth watering winnings came courtesy of two winning tickets and betPawa’s 100% win bonus, which helped to double his initial 24,999,816.15 shillings win to a staggering overall total payout of 49,999,632.15 shillings, increasing to 50,002,666.82 shillings after his second winning bet ticket came through.
According to Livingston Mugambe, the marketing manager at betpawa, their big winner correctly predicted 20 games from different leagues and countries, selecting full-time results, over/under goals and double chances.
“The selected teams he picked played in all the top leagues including the Premier League, Italian Serie A, German Bundesliga and Chinese Super League, as well as also a few other leagues too. One bet stake of UGX 50,229, plus another bet with 3.3 odds, both contributed to his life-changing returns of just over 50 million shillings.” Mugambe noted.
When asked about how he managed to control himself after getting the good news, Ojok said that he was shocked with his result something that made him close his business for the day.
”I thank betpawa for this lifetime achievement. 50 million is very big money. As soon as I was called and informed that I had won the 50 million, I got shocked and closed my business for the day, went home and sat with my family to thank God for this miracle.” Said Ojok
Betpawa through their marketing manager congratulated Patrick for this amazing win.
“We are sure the 50 million shillings will have a great impact in his life. We therefore wish him, his family and his community the very best of luck.” Added Mugambe
Betpawa is one of the few first growing betting companies in Uganda with a big number of online betters.
