Ailing Mityana Municipality Member of Parliament Francis Zaake has been charged with treason and escape from custody by police.
Zaake who has been released on police bond refused to sign on the form in the presence of one of his lawyers Nicholas Opiyo.
Apparently he is expected to reappear at the Criminal Investigations Department headquarters on October 3, 2018.
Last week, Zaake was blocked at Entebbe Airport by security operatives to go to India for further treatment thus keeping him at Kiruddu Hospital.
Meanwhile, Zaake is leaving for India anytime from now.
