Soft Power’s Sarah Kagingo has beaten Umeme’s David
Birungi to become the new president for the public relations practitioners.
Kagingo who came late into the race upset Birungi who was earlier going to sail through unopposed.
Kagingo a former guild president of Makerere runs a digital media agency called Soft Power communications. She had worked on President Museveni’s digital platforms before starting her franchise.

We’ve made it!
We’re finally here and I have nothing but heartfelt gratitude for your support, for the faith you have in me and for your votes. You’ve made the bold and right decision to vote #Kagingo4President and I’d like to use this opportunity to thank you very much.
We’ve made it. We’re finally here. And so the journey begins. The journey to put into action every item on our manifesto.
