Vipers Sports club has named former head coach Edward Golola who has been assistant to Jorge Miguel Da Costa as the club’s interim coach as they prepare to take on the African Champions league qualifiers.
Da Costa who was sacked a few days ago after a not so good showing in the Kagame cup. He was relieved of his duties with the club’s official statement released thanking him for his service to the club and the achievements they have arrived at under his guidance.
Golola who is well versed with the Kitende based outfit having been part of its establishment even before it became a premier league side is the man they have chosen to lead the club as they search for another international manager.
He was instrumental in their clinching of the league title last season having taken charge of some crucial games against SC Villa and KCCA FC when then head coach Da Costa was serving a suspension.
