The Bishop of South Ankole diocese the Rt Rev Nathan Ahimbisibwe has rallied all Ugandans to embrace the culture saving lives through donating enough blood to those who are in need.
According to Bishop Ahimbisibwe this will add value and life to others saying some people are dying in hospitals due to lack of blood and necessities.
He made remarks on Sunday during the closure one day youth fellowship conducted by Uganda Red Cross Society Ntungamo District branch under the theme ‘’ empowering the youth for societal development and self-sustainable’’ held at Standard College Ntungamo Municipality.
Bishop Ahimbisibwe commended the tremendous work done by the Red Cross on regional and international levels especially in war torn areas by helping the causalities.
‘’I joined Red Cross in 1984 when I was at Mbarara High School only to save the lives of others appealing to youth and Ugandans to join the society’’, bishop said.
He tasked youth to practice what they were taught during the training.
