Police has today halted a demonstration by a group of concerned Ugandans led by Kyadondo East Member Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine who were marching from down town to Constitutional Square in protest against the controversial social media and mobile money taxes.
Others in the group included musicians A Pass, Nubian Li, journalists Joel Ssenyonyi, Raymond Mujuni, Bobi Wine’s brothers Chairman Nyanzi just to mention but a few.
As they marched, Police fired teargas to disperse off the protesters and in the process; Chairman Nyanzi was arrested while the legislator survived the coolers by a whisker.
