Arsenal fans in Uganda over the weekend made it a battle to get chance to have a handshake with Ex club star Emmanuel Eboue.
The incident happened at Gayaza high school when Eboue paid a visit to the Masaza cup as Kyadondo FC played Gomba FC.
Many were seen fighting to take selfies with the star who didn’t resist as well as getting autographs.
Eboue with Ibrahima Sonko were sponsored by Bungabet Uganda to give their analysis of the ongoing world cup live on the national broadcaster UBC TV.
In an interview with him, Eboue said that Africa, more especially Uganda has enough talent that can enable its players win slots in the international leagues like the English Premiere League.
“The talents I’ve seen in Uganda are much more than what I expected to find. Am happy that people are playing good football here. ” Said Eboue.
On this note he advised the youngsters to keep the discipline and also keep working hard for a brighter future.
The Chief Executive Officer for Bunga bet Uganda, Prosper Tuhaise on the same event thanked Eboue for accepting to give hope to the struggling Ugandan footballers.
Tuhaise said that Bungabet shall keep on boosting the Ugandan sports more especially from the grass root.
